Mit ihrem vierten Album „Cherrytree stories and other innuendo tales“erreichen GIANTS DWARFS AND BLACK HOLES erneut eine Klangdimension, die wieder eine einzigartige Mischung aus Psychedelic, Acid und Progressive Rock ist. Erinnerungen an den Rock der 70er quer durch das Musikuniversum bis in die Gegenwart – von Budgie, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Jefferson Airplane, Grobschnitt bis hin zu Bands wie Motorpsycho. Nach dem Release des letzten, von Fans und Presse sehr gut aufgenommenen Albums „Echo on death of Narcissus“ (2024 CD/LP Sireena Records ) stellte sich die Band neu auf. Der Ausstieg des Gitarristen Caio Puttini im September 2024 veranlasste den Bassisten Tomasz Riedel, erneut zur Gitarre zu greifen. Da die personalreduzierte Band alle Gigs absagen musste, fokussierte sie sich sofort, um die Umstände gut wie möglich zu nutzen, auf die Produktion des nächsten Albums.
Heavy Psychedelic/Acid Progressiv Rock ist die Basis der vier langen Titel auf „Cherrytree stories and other innuendo tales“. Mit der Wechselstimmung von Heavy Rock mit rauer Stimme von Christiane Thomaßen und heftigem Drum-Background von Carsten Freckmann bis hin zu space-bluesigen Jamparts und Akustikpassagen mit weichen Sopranwolken setzen GIANTS DWARFS AND BLACK HOLES auf Kontraste und Vielschichtigkeit.

With their fourth album, "Cherrytree Stories and Other Innuendo Tales," GIANTS DWARFS AND BLACK HOLES once again achieve a new sonic dimension, a unique blend of psychedelic, acid, and progressive rock. Memories of 70s rock spanning the musical universe to the present day—from Budgie, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Jefferson Airplane, and Grobschnitt to bands like Motorpsycho. Following the release of their last album, "Echo on Death of Narcissus" (2024 CD/LP Sireena Records), which was very well received by fans and the press, the band reformed. The departure of guitarist Caio Puttini in September 2024 prompted bassist Tomasz Riedel to pick up the guitar again. Since the reduced-personnel band had to cancel all gigs, they immediately focused on producing their next album to make the most of the situation. Heavy psychedelic/acid progressive rock forms the basis of the four long tracks on "Cherrytree Stories and Other Innuendo Tales."
With the moods shifting from heavy rock with Christiane Thomaßen's raspy voice and Carsten Freckmann's heavy drum background to space-bluesy jam parts and acoustic passages with soft soprano clouds, GIANTS DWARFS AND BLACK HOLES focus on contrasts and complexity.
